Shit Annoys Me: A Rant

Here’s a list of some of the stuff that really gets on my nerves:

1.  When people casually use the word “faggot.”  Also, when people who know better should say something and don’t, thinking it’s *MY* job to always speak up against homophobia.

2. When driving:  there’s no one behind me, but you make sure to speed up/drive in the fire lane/almost hit me in order to get in front of me and then drive slower than the speed limit.  AGAIN, THERE IS NO ONE BEHIND ME!

3. Furthermore, it is annoying if said person is a bro in a huge truck who uses the relative size of this be-nutted douchemobile to bully or menace people.  NOT ON MY WATCH, BRO.

4. The rampant commercialism, racism, and sexism of gay culture.  I could go on for days about this.

5. People with privilege who get defensive when I bring up their privilege.  I am sorry, but your white guilt is self-absorbed and detracts from the real issue: systematic oppression. I don’t give a fuck if you are “nice.”  Your niceness has nothing to do with institutions’ power to classify people in hierarchies and treat them differently based on a value system created by those “in charge.”

6. People who talk shit on the Inland Empire and they aren’t from here.  If you aren’t from here, then you don’t really know what it is like here, and you are just a snob.

7.  People who make fun of fat or ugly people to make themselves feel better about their shitty lives.  You are shallow and mean.

8. People who ignore the terrible atrocities perpetrated by corporations because they like their products: Starbucks, etc.

9. RIVERSIDE NEEDS QUEERS TO ORGANIZE.

10.  I hate being annoyed, too, so I’m over it.  I’m sure I’ll add more to this list later.  Have a lovely day!!!!
